Twin Share Houses in a Southern European Style

Today, we are introducing the twin share houses “La Réve Sakurashinmachi” and “Pleiades Shibuya,” located four stops from Shibuya on the Den-en-toshi Line, in Sakurashinmachi, the town famous for Sazae-san. As soon as you get off the train, the Sazae-san family is there to welcome you♪ It was our first time meeting them, so we couldn't help snapping a photo (laughs). Three minutes from the station, and after walking through a quiet residential neighborhood, you come upon two newly built three-story houses. Those are the homes we’re visiting today. They stand side by side, with the same exterior shape but different colors. Even though the exterior form is the same, the atmosphere inside is different, so we’re excited to see what kind of homes they are!

Fireworks festivals are being held all over town, so we’re in yukata too♪ (laughs)
Now then, let’s go take a look right away!!

Aya “This is what the entrance looks like, just a 3-minute walk from Sakurashinmachi Station! Both of these twin buildings have a modern design and look so cute!”
Kumiko “We’ve arrived! They’re newly built, yet they have such a modern design! I can’t wait to see inside! The one on the left is La Réve Sakurashinmachi, and the one on the right is Pleiades Shibuya. Let’s start by taking a look at Pleiades Shibuya.”

Aya “Kumiko-saaan, welcome! The white walls really stand out in the entrance, making it feel so bright, don’t they?♪”
Kumiko “Aya-chan, thanks for having me! It smells wonderfully new~! It’s so white and bright!”

Aya “When you step into the entrance, there’s a storage space! That’s such a nice feature for stylish girls! Kumiko-san, do you think a lot will fit in there?”
Kumiko “Yes, definitely! And when you can close the doors like this, it keeps everything looking neat and also helps reduce odors.”

Aya “In the living room, it seems like you could chat with your housemates a lot! And above all, the tulip-shaped lights are so cute♪”
Kumiko “The lights are so cute~! It feels kind of European. The kind of warm togetherness you can’t experience when living alone is exactly what you get in a share house.”

Aya “The bright living room is fully equipped with a TV and air conditioning, so it’s sure to become everyone’s place to relax! So comfortable♪”
Kumiko “A bright room just feels nice, doesn’t it? You can exchange information with everyone, and even have girls’ talk too!”

Aya “The outside is white, the inside is turquoise blue, and this dish cabinet fits perfectly with the house’s French-inspired design! If I had a cute cabinet like this, I feel like I’d try harder to stay organized!”
Kumiko “Mmm~! It’s such a stylish dish cabinet with a clean feel! Staying organized... yes... I’ll do my best! When you think about making it easy for the next person to use, it feels like you’ll naturally try harder to keep things tidy, doesn’t it?”

Aya “Besides the table we just saw, there’s also a slightly smaller table here too!”
Kumiko “There are several tables even in the living room, so you can use them according to the situation. That’s something unique to a share house◎”

Aya “The TV stand has this compact storage too! Since the storage space is properly divided by room, you don’t have to worry about your things going missing!”
Kumiko “Great interior◎ Great storage◎ Such an excellent TV stand. It might also be nice to put everyone’s mail into their room’s compartment!”

Kumiko “You made coffee for me~! Aya-chan, thank you! Oh, by the way, how have things been lately??”
Aya “Here you go~! There’s even a coffee maker in the bright kitchen! Kumisan, please listen to me... It seems like you could spend relaxing time here, chatting over coffee and updating each other on what’s been going on in your lives♪”

Aya “The sink and stove area are spacious, which is great! It looks like everyone could have fun cooking together♪ You can cook for each other and share!”
Kumiko “Aya-chan, your yukata and the cooking pot look so lovely together♪ Maybe simmered dishes tonight~♪ And then saying, ‘I’ll cook tomorrow!’ sounds fun too.”

Aya “Besides the coffee maker, you can store this many appliances too!”
Kumiko “The kitchen is fully equipped. You can move in empty-handed! Look, look—the oven mitts are so cute♪”

Aya “The light coming in through the window and the white walls make this room very bright! It’s great that it also comes fully furnished with a desk and bed!”
Kumiko “It’s so nice that the furniture is included! Even though it’s a compact room, it feels bright and comfortable.”

Aya “There’s a mirror in the room too! It’s compact and cute, so I feel like I’d look forward to hair and makeup time every day (o^^o)”
Kumiko “A mirror is essential! But large ones can get in the way, so having this size attached to the wall is wonderful!”

Aya “There’s also a hanger rack in the room, so your clothes won’t get wrinkled!”
Kumiko “Compact but excellent storage! Dresses fit easily, and at this time of year, you can hang your yukata too.”

Aya “There’s such a big storage space under the bed! Even if you have a lot of belongings, this will keep things worry-free★”
Kumiko “Storage under the bed is a must! With this, you can properly store not only clothes but also your personal belongings.”

Aya “You can even hang laundry in the room, so there’s no need to worry when it rains!”
Kumiko “Yes, this is a very useful little feature◎ You can stretch out a wire and hang your laundry! And when it’s in the way, you can put it away.”

Aya “There are even rooms with two windows! It feels like you’d wake up in a good mood every morning!”
Kumiko “The privilege of a corner room!! Hehe. Waking up to sunlight is the best, after all~!”

Aya “The washstand even has compact divided storage! It’s easy to use because you can immediately tell which items are yours!”
Kumiko “Bringing your whole set of face-washing items from your room every single time... that gets tedious. With this, you can leave them here all the time, which makes it much easier to use!”

Aya “There’s a bath on the first floor, and there’s also a shower on the second floor! And in the changing area, there’s this cute clothes basket♪”
Kumiko “When you use the changing area, just close this curtain. This clothes basket is so cute~! And then you can take it straight to the laundry.”

Aya “The bath is also unified in white, which gives it a very clean feel! It’s spacious too, so you can relax in it and wash away the fatigue of the day!”
Kumiko “It’s bigger than the bath in a single-person apartment~! This looks like it would really take away the day’s疲れ.”

Aya “There’s a basket for clothes by the washing machine too! Every little item is so cute!”
Kumiko “When the little things around the house are cute, even someone lazy like me feels like I could do the laundry properly (laughs). There’s also a dryer◎”

Aya “The toilet is a private space, so the modern design feels relaxing! Maybe a little nerve-racking though (laughs)”
Kumiko “Such a stylish toilet—it kind of feels like a bar. So exciting (laughs).”

Kumiko “Now we’ve come next door! I wonder what the atmosphere is like here.”
Aya “As soon as you enter the entrance, the first thing you notice is this antique-style storage! And the wall also has stylish lettering that matches the storage! So detailed?♪”

Aya “When there’s a full-length mirror like this, it’s fun to decide on your outfit every day together with Kumiko-san★”
Kumiko “You can ask your housemates for styling advice, and even fix things like your yukata from the back, which is hard to see yourself.”

Kumiko “Look, look! This living room has a completely different atmosphere! This one has a Southern European style and feels so relaxing.”
Aya “It feels relaxing because the living room is so spacious! The coffee we made earlier tastes even better too♪”

Aya “There’s even a spacious single-seat sofa in the living room! It’s a great place to relax!”
Kumiko “A living room where you can also value your personal time seems like a place where work could go really well too.”

Aya “The red dish cabinet adds energy! The bold-colored interior makes a great accent in the living room!”
Kumiko “Even though the red stands out, it still blends right into the living room! So cute~!”

Aya “The storage shelves are a clean white! Since each one is divided by room, it’s easy to use!”
Kumiko “This building also has TV storage! The warmth of the wood works well for both the interior and the storage◎”

Aya “The kitchen is coordinated with the wall color, so it has a calm feeling. Kumiko-san, let’s cook together!”
Kumiko “It looks easy to use with IH! The kitchen is fairly spacious too, so you can cook together. How about pasta??”

Aya “The light streaming in through the window really enhances the brightness of the room!”
Kumiko “It’s bright~! The model room makes it even easier to imagine what life here would be like. Please make it a room that feels like you.”

Aya “Kumiko-saaan, look! There’s even a rack where you can place cute little items like this♪”
Kumiko “So cute~! It can be used as a rack and also as a desk, so it feels like it could become a favorite space for reading or working!”

Aya “When you open the window—tulips! The house’s orange exterior walls and the tulips match so well! So cute~♪”
Kumiko “When you look from outside, the walls and the flowers match so beautifully! When you can see plants from your room, it somehow gives you a sense of peace of mind, doesn’t it?”

Aya “The round mirror at the washstand is so cute! And since there’s proper storage too, it’s nice that you can clearly tell which things are yours!”
Kumiko “The storage really catches your eye—it’s so cute~! Face wash, toothbrush... what should I put here?♪”

Aya “Two share houses standing side by side! French-style Pleiades Shibuya and Southern France-style La Réve Sakurashinmachi—which one do you prefer?”
Kumiko “Even though the houses have the same shape, these twin share houses have completely different atmospheres. It would be so hard to choose!”

So, what did you think??
A share house made up of two connected detached homes. Each one has a different atmosphere, and it feels like it would be hard to decide which one to live in!! I even found myself greedily thinking, ‘I wish I could live in them alternately every day’ (laughs).
Please find your favorite room.
