Hello!
The share house we visited this time is “Share Residence Motosumiyoshi,” located a two-minute walk from Motosumiyoshi Station, from which you can travel directly to both Shibuya and Yokohama without changing trains. This property really is close to the station, just a two-minute walk away. There is also a lively shopping street in front of the station, making everyday life very convenient.
The private rooms are very spacious, measuring 7.2–8.1 tatami mats in floor area (a traditional Japanese measure of room size). One entire wall is lined with windows, letting in plenty of sunlight. Somehow, it makes me feel as though our luck might improve, too. There is also one room—just one—with its own toilet and washbasin! This is a welcome option for anyone who wants to maintain their privacy.
Now, let’s begin our review.
First, watch our Girls’ Review video♪

Izumi: “Hello, Aisa~. The lovely weather today made the walk here pleasant☆ You pass through the shopping street from the station, and the house is easy to find.”
Aisa: “Hello, Izumi~. It is conveniently located close to the station, isn’t it! It is cold today, so come inside quickly!”

Izumi: “There is a place to store shoes immediately to the right as you enter~. There is actually a storage room behind this where you can put shoes too☆”
Aisa: “What!? There is a storage room behind this too?? Amazing! You can store so many shoes☆ That makes me happy (^・^)”

Izumi: “Oh, is this a security camera? That is a thoughtful touch for women. With this camera, you can immediately see if someone you do not know has entered!”
Aisa: “Yes, it is reassuring, isn’t it♪ The camera alone is a big plus. It makes me feel protected and safe all the time♡”

Izumi: “First, let’s step into the living room. The sofa’s bright, energizing orange color lifts my spirits.”
Aisa: “Look! This TV program is funny☆ It is fun to spend time here chatting and enjoying ourselves together (~o~)”

Izumi: “Aisa, let’s have a tea party here! I would like some fragrant orange tea!”
Aisa: “Sitting on the orange sofa has put you in the mood for orange tea, hasn’t it? (laughs) Then perhaps I will have some orange juice♡ There are cookies too♪”

Izumi: “A display cabinet! Even glasses bought at a 100-yen shop (a Japanese discount store) would look expensive in here (laughs). By the way, these glasses are not from a 100-yen shop!”
Aisa: “Anything looks lovely when you put it in here♡ It is my favorite display cabinet. It might be nice to display a group photo of everyone too☆”

Izumi: “The mismatched chairs are cute! This purple chair is my favorite.”
Aisa: “It is fun to think, ‘Which chair should I sit in today?♪’ every day! I like the breakfasts we sometimes have here together (^.^)”

Izumi: “You made tea for me! Thank you, Aisa
Aisa: “Is coffee all right?? I am going to pour the hot water, so could you bring me your mug?”

Izumi: “As a thank-you for the tea, I will make dinner! Is beef stew all right today?”
Aisa: “Really!! Are you sure? That makes me so happy !(^^)! Your beef stew is one of my favorite dishes, Izumi☆ Thank you. I am looking forward to it♪”

Izumi: “Once we have finished eating, we can put the dishes in this dishwasher and switch it on! How convenient.”
Aisa: “Wow! There is even a dishwasher! That is convenient. When cleaning up is easy, it makes you want to cook more☆”

Izumi: “Should we put the clean dishes away here? Aisa, could you take care of that?”
Aisa: “Yes! Certainly. There are so many colorful plates♪”

Izumi: “Aisa, what is that cute light-blue appliance?”
Aisa: “Believe it or not, it is a toaster! Stylish, isn’t it (^^♪ Simply having it here adds to the décor and lifts my spirits. I toast bread with it every day↑”

Izumi: “There is storage underneath the seat too!! It is wonderful to be able to make effective use of otherwise unused space♪”
Aisa: “Just as I would expect from you, Izumi—you are so good at keeping things organized. You have a good eye☆ It holds a lot, and this space is handy, isn’t it??”

Izumi: “The damask-patterned wallpaper is stylish too~♪ The hallway is so wide that we do not have to worry about bumping into each other (*´▽`*)”
Aisa: “Exactly☆ This is my favorite place of all! The damask pattern makes you feel elegant, doesn’t it?”

Izumi: “Next, we have come into one of the rooms~. The room has a simple white color scheme.”
Aisa: “The curtains and furniture are completely different from room to room. So try to find your favorite room☆ A white room really suits you, Izumi!”

Izumi: “There is a refrigerator in the room! And it has two doors! Aisa, what would you put in it?”
Aisa: “Perhaps I will fill it with plenty of vitamin-rich juice. And delicious nama chocolate (soft chocolate made with cream) too(*^_^*)I will go and buy some ice cream as well.”

Izumi: “There is a closet too, so you can store your favorite clothes with care. This dress is my favorite.”
Aisa: “It is deep and looks as though it can hold a lot. There is still plenty of space, so shall we go shopping??”

Izumi: “Aisa, are you working? Come and spend some time with me (;´∀`)”
Aisa: “I am looking up nearby places to eat on the internet. I have found somewhere I want to go, so shall we go together now?”

Izumi: “Izumi is taking a break♪”
Aisa: “The bed looks so soft and comfortable! I am starting to feel sleepy too.”

Izumi: “Aisa, it looks like the sunlight is dazzling you! That shows just how much sunlight comes in. By the way, what is that hook~~?”
Aisa: “The windows are so large that the sunlight coming in is dazzling. This is a hook for supporting a laundry-drying pole.”

Izumi: “I found a TV outlet. You can relax and watch television in your room! In the living room, you need to take turns, but with this you can watch whenever you want.”
Aisa: “Every room has one, which is convenient!”

Izumi: “This room is a spacious 8.1 tatami mats in size. There is plenty of room, so I can concentrate on reading. This café looks like it has delicious food~~.”
Aisa: “Izumi, what are you reading? Show me too ヽ(^o^)丿”

Izumi: “Aisa, make sure you click the lock shut.”
Aisa: “Of course. You have to lock the door every time you go out!”

Izumi: “There is only one room on the ground floor. That gives it a little more privacy! Doesn’t it, Aisa?”
Aisa: “This room is quiet and very comfortable to spend time in. It feels relaxing, so I would choose this room.”

Izumi: “First of all, the room comes with its own washbasin! Having these facilities right in your room is quite a luxury in a share house.”
Aisa: “Rooms with their own washbasin are not easy to find, are they? I am so happy about it that I will try it right away♡”

Izumi: “And there is even a toilet right in the room. It feels like a studio apartment♪”
Aisa: “Even a toilet!!! It feels more like a studio apartment than a share house. With rent this affordable, I can see why it is popular.”

Izumi: “Aisa, what is that on the ceiling that you are pointing to?”
Aisa: “It is an automatic fire alarm. That is reassuring♪”

Izumi: “There are three cute chairs lined up here. Let’s enjoy doing our makeup together ( ;∀;)”
Aisa: “The chairs here are colorful too, which is lovely! Spending time chatting and doing our makeup together while giving each other tips is special too☆”

Izumi: “Oh, there is a proper bathroom too! Aisa, you can go first.”
Aisa: “Thank you♡ Then I will go first.”

Izumi: “There are also two shower rooms. We can make good use of these when we want a quick wash or do not have much time!”
Aisa: “In the morning, a shower is enough! They might also be good for quickly rinsing off sweat after exercise!”

Izumi: “I am good at doing laundry! First, put the laundry in... There is a dryer too, so we can do our laundry without worrying even on rainy days.”
Aisa: “There are plenty of washing machines, so we do not have to compete for one. The weather is nice today, so perhaps I will hang mine outside.”

Izumi: “Wow (≧∀≦) There is a spacious, open terrace! Aisa, bring a pot of tea out here and let’s have a girls’ chat!”
Aisa: “It is so big! I am thrilled that there is a terrace! The view is lovely too♪ I will go and get the teapot☆ It feels so open.”

Izumi: “It is very close to the station, just a two-minute walk away, and there is a lively shopping street in front of the station, making everyday life very convenient! Would you like to take a look at this share house, with its terrace and wonderful sense of openness?”
Aisa: “It is a lovely share house with large windows that let in plenty of light. The rent is affordable too, so I highly recommend it!”
