This time, we visited “Share Place Higashi-Kanagawa 99,” a share house located near Higashi-Kanagawa Station in Kanagawa Prefecture, not far from Yokohama. This share house offers the feeling of living in a small town, together with the calm warmth of being part of a family.

The two buildings each have a different atmosphere, but both are fully equipped with large shared kitchens and dining areas. Although this is a share house, it felt a little like a school or even a small town, and it left me with such a warm feeling. ★Access	A 12-minute walk from Higashi-Kanagawa Station on the JR Keihin-Tohoku Line. Yokohama is only one stop away, and Shinagawa Station can be reached in approximately 20 minutes. Haneda Airport can also be reached in around 15 minutes by taking an Airport Express train.
★Storage	In addition to a closet, the rooms have wall-mounted storage space, and some rooms also include a loft. There is storage beneath the bed, as well as individually divided storage compartments in the kitchen.
★Style	The property has a wood-themed design with a strong emphasis on natural materials. The furniture is also coordinated in a natural style, creating a consistent overall appearance. Because the interior is simple, you can add your favorite accent colors and personalize the room to suit your own style.
★Rent	¥48,000–¥82,000 per month, with a monthly common service fee of ¥15,000. The property contains many rooms and can accommodate up to 99 residents. There is a wide variety of rooms, including spacious rooms with lofts, rooms with garages, south-facing or square-shaped rooms, rooms with balconies, and rooms on the top floor with excellent views.
★Rules	Pets are not permitted. Additional house rules also apply. Smoking is prohibited inside the property, but a designated smoking area is available. Friends may visit, but they are not permitted to stay overnight. A professional cleaning company visits approximately five times a week, so the shared areas are cleaned frequently.
★Water Facilities	There are two bathrooms and 15 shower booths. The property also has as many as five kitchens.
★Security	A property manager visits three times a week. Comprehensive security measures are in place, including automatic locks. A home security system is also installed.
