This classic route uses one transfer at Naka-Meguro from any station on the Tōyoko Line to the Hibiya Line. Because all trains terminate at Naka-Meguro, connection waits are short and the total travel time stays within 20 minutes.

If you want a direct commute to Ebisu within 20 minutes, Itabashi and Jūjō (Saikyō Line) and Musashi-Kōsugi (Shōnan-Shinjuku Line) offer outstanding cost performance. If you can accept one transfer, fashionable areas along the Tōyoko Line such as Jiyū-ga-oka, Gakugei-daigaku, and Yūtenji plus calm residential zones on the Meguro Line like Musashi-Koyama and Fudō-mae become viable options.
